Does NightCap have a patent?
Yes, the drink spiking prevention scrunchie is patented in the United States. NightCap is also a registered trademark in the United States and the United Kingdom.
Does NightCap prevent other liquids from getting into my drink?
NightCap acts as a psychological deterrent against all drink tampering however it is only recommended to be used to prevent pills and powders from entering.
Will my hair get in my drink?
No. The drink cover is kept inside a pocket in the scrunchie. When used properly, the cover will never touch your hair.
What if NightCap gets wet?
No problem! Nightcap is made out of a nylon/spandex blend, similar to a bathing suit material so it dries very quickly.
Does NightCap have any other uses?
Yes! Do you spend a lot of time outdoors? NightCap can keep bugs OUT of your drink. We've had customers tell us that they use NightCap to prevent their cats from drinking their drinks as well as for keeping sand out at the beach.
Is NightCap reusable?
Yes. NightCap can be used over and over again. It is washing machine friendly if needed.
Does NightCap fit on all cups and glasses?
NightCap fits over most cups and glasses. It may not fit well over very small drinks or unique glasses such as a champagne flute. It is designed to fit perfectly over a solo cup.
Do I need a straw to use NightCap?
Yes. You can use paper, plastic, or reusable straws. We offer a stylish stainless steel straw kit that can be bundled with your NightCap for a discounted price.
Can't someone just remove the NightCap drink cover?
NightCap is excellent at protecting your drink for short periods of time. NightCap is NOT an excuse to leave your drink unattended. NightCap is a physical and psychological deterrent created to prevent pills and powders from being dropped into a drink. It should be used as an improved alternative to covering a drink with your hand or napkin. You never know what the person next to you is going to do when you look away for a few seconds.
